Love this SO much!! Looking forward to documenting my pregnancies while providing care for myself and memories for my children!

I purchased the Postpartum Journal as part of a baby shower gift. I looked through the pages and was so impressed by the prompts that look like they will be genuinely helpful for a new mom as she navigates her feelings after giving birth. It addresses so many aspects of the journey including making sure that she is asking for support from her partner and others while also nurturing their relationship in small ways. It’s really a way to make sure you’re getting therapy in some way even if you’re not able to actually go to a therapist. I will definitely be purchasing this as gifts for other friends in the future and I’m excited to explore the other Promptly Journals.

These journals are SO adorable and very convenient/easy to fill out and keep up with. They are my new go to journals for moms to be or new mommas

First off, can I tell you as a graphic designer how pretty this journal is?! It made me happy just taking it out of the package it came in and opening it up to the first page. I love it! Anywho - I've only used the pregnancy section of this so far (I'm due in a month), but I absolutely love the questions it asked me. This is my second pregnancy and I wish I'd had this for my first. I feel like there aren't really any journals out there for expecting mommas to document their pregnancy feelings. I'm a really sentimental person, so being able to put all my thoughts and feelings in writing is something I'll cherish forever. I also LOVE how much space there is to write. I'm usually long-winded in my thoughts (clearly!), so having plenty of room to write out everything I want to say is something that's hard for me to come by in journals. This one has the perfect amount of space, in my opinion. The last and most important thing about this is the questions it asks throughout the rest of the journal. I've read through almost every prompt, and the questions are so insightful and relevant to the postpartum experience. I struggled HARD with postpartum anxiety with my first pregnancy, but I felt like I had no one to turn to for fear of being labeled crazy or a bad mom. This journal makes it clear that these thoughts are actually completely normal, and then takes it a step further to prompt you with follow-up questions on how you could help yourself or get help from others. Many of the questions are ones my own therapist asked me after my first pregnancy. And the resources in the back are truly invaluable. I'm familiar with many of these organizations now thanks to my own research, and I really wish I would've known about these organizations with my first kiddo. I'm so glad to see a company putting serious importance on postpartum issues and this will be my go-to gift for any of my expecting mom friends. I cannot say enough how much I love the insightfulness and resources this journal provides.

This is a beautiful journal, and the prompts have helped me to really dig into all the feelings I've been experiencing postpartum. I highly recommend this to anyone who is concerned about their postpartum mental health - this is a great way to process your emotions and cope with any aspect of birth or the newborn days that doesn't go according to plan.

All the essentials for my pumping session... keeping the memories for the baby, everyday moments, personal reflection, political rejuvenation, and some summer reading. After my third baby, with complications from my second and even more complications and my first c-section with my third, I got ahead of my mental recovery with the Promptly Journal. Like this motley crew of texts, our recovery after babies isn’t just a singular focus, but a mix of mental, physical, emotional recovery. Add a pandemic and some not so great complications prior to delivery, and it’s a recipe for a long road. The Promptly Postpartum journal has already been an insanely helpful tool (after only a week) in helping me process and move through this recovery with more clarity and strength. I was working on the partner section last night and really focused on everything my husband has done for me and my kids during this time, taking the time to be grateful for a supportive partner that has never expected perfection but always worked toward the simple joys of our family and our life. This journal helped me pinpoint that important aspect of my life. It will continue to be an assent as I work through the months of recovery to come.
