TIP #4 FROM PARENTING SIMPLIFIED: HOW TO EASE YOUR CHILD'S BACK-TO-SCHOOL FEARS

School is right around the corner. Where did summer go?! We're excited to share another great back-to-school tip from Lily Morgan of Parenting Simplified this week.

Starting school can be stressful, and can cause anxiety for children. Below, Lily shares a simple, easy tip for helping ease your child's back-to-school fears.

DE-STRESS AT BEDTIME

"One useful tip to help your kids manage the anxiety of going back to school is to spend a few minutes with your child at bedtime," says Lily. "When you put your child to bed, trace their hand and go over each finger. As you trace each finger, tell your child one thing you love about them or something about them you are proud of. This is a great activity because it strengthens parent-child attachment, relieves anxiety, and offers touch, comfort, and soothing."
